Not recommended. A while ago I brought my one year old small breed terrier to Dr. Figueroa for loss of appetite and low energy. After taking the dog's vitals he declared " that's one hot puppy" with a temperature of 102. He kept the terrier for about 3 hours until he was "normal" again, and then presented me with a bill for $1000. Turns out the normal temperature for this terrier and most other breeds is ------ 102.
