My dishwasher broke down about a week ago and I contacted several of the highest-rated repair companies on the web to get it serviced. Because our dishwasher is Asko (a brand which is rare in the U.S. and, therefore, is difficult to fix), we were glad to find Allen and Sons Appliance Repair willing to check it out. I guess I should have called them first – Well lets put it this way, I called 3 companies and I did not pick Allen And Sons first. I purchased my Samsung refrigerator from Lowes in Jun of 2010. The first company that came out (will remain nameless) charged me $65 for an estimate on a timer which was over $200 and told me my unit was under warranty and they cannot service it (which I did not realize, but I am still upset I had to pay for that piece of information). Don't use this company!! – We had two appliances that broke at the same time, a dishwasher and a microwave. They came over to assess these and order the appropriate parts. Once the parts arrived, they came back to do the repairs, but were only able to repair one of the appliances, stating they ordered the wrong part for the other appliance.
