Sunday morning breakfast cruise on a beautiful sunny day for my birthday celebrations. Food was delicious. Fried tomato and side hash browns/potatoes were to die for! Hot apple pie & cream afterwards was just the icing on top! Thank you for a brilliant experience.

Excellent food, highly recommend even if the weather's not great! We had a rainy Saturday for our lunch trip, and greatly enjoyed very good three course meals in the cozy cabin, and an interesting boat trip from Ipswich down to Felixtowe. Book ahead as they need to know your menu choices ahead of time!

Friendly staff, surprisingly good food (given it’s a moving boat with limited space for the galley). The dining room consists of one large table, which enabled everyone to be part of the conversation. Drinks a little pricey, but not outrageously so. Two toilets on board. To be recommended.

I recently visited Allen Gardiner River Cruise Restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The views from the river were beautiful and created a relaxing atmosphere throughout the meal. The food was fresh, well prepared, and full of flavor. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a memorable visit with great food, lovely scenery, and excellent service.

A group of us enjoyed a lovely lunch cruise on the Orwell from Ipswich up to Harwich and Felixstowe and back. The boat was lovely clean and spacious with attentive, helpful and informative/knowledgeable staff. The lunch was delicious with several choices to suit all palates and the service was good. We sat outside on deck at the back of the boat for the return journey with interesting buildings, boats and entertaining wildlife.
