What can I say, they do everything to the lowest standard possible/allowable. Do they look decent? Sure. Does the quality they claim to put in every house exist? No. We purchased in 2023, but it wasn’t in one of their overcrowded sub-divisions. It’s a standalone in an established neighborhood from the 70s on a .42 acre plot. Horrible customer service. My son and his family just purchased a new home. After purchasing home they leaned they would not have a mailbox on site. There will be a “community” mailbox. They have been in home for over 5 weeks. No mail box, they can not receive mail at their new expensive home. They called office to get resolved and they would not listen to complaint. Loved working with our project manager, Andrew. We always felt heard. We have loved being in a new home, I feel some things were thrown together but during two month visit they seem to listen to us and make it right
All in all we had a good experience working with Allen Edwin. They provided a lot of useful materials for our new home to ease the transition.
The people at AEH were great to work with. I had some unexpected life events happen 3 months after signing the purchase agreement and they were patient while those issues resolved. They said the project could be paused for a month or two which was very reassuring. During the start of the build, I was introduced to the project manager who stated there would be weekly updates.
