We have been pleased with Allen Edwin Homes. The buying process was quick and everyone we worked with was very helpful, as this was our first home buying experience. The home itself is good quality and all appliances are under a two year warranty.
As first time home buyers, The new home that we bought is beautiful and it comes with all the appliances and features as described in the sale contract. The process was smooth and easy. Also, it was completed sooner than expected, which was a huge surprise! Customer service has been very responsive after move in. Homes that are constructed faster than you can ever imagine with a top-dollar price tag, but with issues to match. Light switches will turn on dishwashers, completely unheated basements only discovered upon closing, etc. Allen Edwin has been bulldozing pristine ecosystems and building houses that won't outlast a 30-year mortgage since before I was born. Buyers beware.
Lori Lewis was great to work with. Closing went smoothly. Contractors used are very careless. You can tell every was bare minimum.
Horrible customer service. My son and his family just purchased a new home. After purchasing home they learned they would not have a mailbox on site. There will be a “community” mailbox. They have been in home for over 5 weeks. No mail box, they can not receive mail at their new expensive home. They called office to get resolved and they would not listen to complaint.
