I have gone to Dr Hornell for 12 years and generally thought he was an excellent doctor. However looking back he did not look into problems I was having and refer me to specialists. I had complained about arthritis pain for several years, had two knee surgeries and NEVER was referred to a Rheumatologist until I discovered one on my own. Dr. Hornell is a very professional and trustworthy doctor. He went thru my medical history in details with me at my first visit. I realized that my previous doctors had never let me know. He isn't like those doctors to send me for thousands of thousands dollars of tests, but diagnosised my condition and carefully monitoring my progress. He is a really good doctor so I am willing to drive an hour to see him when I need to visit a doctor.
Dr Hornell is a nice guy. The procedures you have to go thru are a mess. I needed a referral and his office people hung up on me because I questioned them. Made a second call they promised to contact me. Of course that didn’t happen. We are looking for a new Doctor with a helpful and pleasant staff.
Dr. Hornell has been my primary care physician for several years and he is one of the finest physicians in practice. He is extremely attentive, very patient, and every referral he has given me have been top quality practitioners. His staff are all excellent as well.
