Once again Allegiant proves they’re incompetent. we booked a flight for my wife to go home with her service dog. When we booked it not understanding the process we indicated that we would have a pet in cabin and that it was a service animal. Our confirmation indicates both of those things. We then learned about the service animal forms portal that Allegiant has, we filled out all the paperwork, and got our service animal approved, Then we notified the airline of when we were traveling. We checked a bag and the woman at the priority counter was extremely rude. Didn’t catch her name but she had black hair and glasses working 6/30 10AM. Asked me to scan. I asked “my boarding pass or drivers license?” She said “obviously your boarding pass. I can’t scan drivers license.” Tried to haggle us for our personal item (which was a blanket). Lots of attitude and she never apologized. 2 stars because the flight was decent - as expected 🙂
