My kitten was waiting to be fixed at her current vet and the weekend before developed a pyometra- requiring emergency surgery. My vet couldn’t get her in and after calling everywhere I felt helpless as no one could get her in the same day for the surgery. After calling Allegheny Vet. Services, they were able to get us in asap. I drove there and was greeted and reassured by the kindest staff. My 3 year old chinchilla had fallen ill very suddenly and moving to West Virginia not long ago I was not sure where to take her needing exotic vet care. They were able to get me in right away.Alisha was amazing! I couldn’t recommend anyone more. She made me feel so comfortable with my girl. A few days later and my girl is feeling a lot better. This is not my normal vet, however an emergency occurred during lunch time when my regular vet is closed - and they also don’t usually have immediate openings when you do call - so i was not waiting til they re opened - i contacted this vet & they took me right in! It was a nice place, clean, smelled good. Everyone was nice and professional and moved quickly, my poor kitty had suffered a bite and had a broken tail, which they had to end up amputating - but they had us in and out in 3 hours.
