Allegacy's on-line banking update was to take away customer's on-line banking access to transfer from 10/4-ongoing and provide no on-line banking access from 10/6-??? ongoing. Not sure what is taking place with Allegacy however got to believe this is some s sort of violation of FDIC/CFPB/etc. regulations on on-line availability. Contacted Allegacy on-line customer service on 10/7/25 and they advised that there have been additional issues with the on-line "upgrade" with no eta on when it will be available. Kernersville branch and Allegacy overall are not very customer focused with very archaic systems and services. Tried to open an estate account, Kvillle Allegacy advised they could not assist so went to Fidelity Bank of NC and they gladly opened an account for the ~ $250k in deposits. Tried to cash I a US Savings bond and Kville Allegacy advised can’t do that, so went to Fidelity of Nc and they gladly cashed. Most recent issue is had two CERTIFIED CHECKS from Goldman Sachs and Allegacy advised would need to hold the checks fo... read more
