If I could give 0 stars, I would. From the moment I got there, Erica, the supervisor, was racist and unkind to me. She rushed me to put my service animal in the kennel and threatened that if my dog barked, the police would come and remove her. My dog has separation anxiety, so I tried to sleep in the kennel with her to keep her calm. Instead of working with me or showing any compassion, they kicked me out at 12 a.m in the rain! If only this organization were better able to weed out the women who come in there and lie to the Hope Center staff and abuse the system. I know it's happening for a fact, and it is so sad. Women who do that are also abusing the poor people who actually need this service. I say people because women are not the only people who are beaten; men are too, but most of them are silent about it because society doesn't treat men who are beaten the same way.
