Went yesterday for COVID and strep testing. I was feeling terrible and the technician was SO kind, really an amazing employee. It's not fun having to drive thru for testing still but he made the experience much more comfortable because of his wonderful demeanor and attitude.
I came to this location after 5 PM on Wednesday (5/11/22). We pulled up and pushed a button and after a minute someone came out to greet us. When I saw this man was so kind, he was SO kind. He asked us to pull up and then asked who in the car would be tested. Took my license and went into the trailer. Came back out and let me know there was two tests, a rapid and PCR. As I sit here at 2:37pm at this drive through that should, per listed hours be open, guess what? It isn't open. I drove 25 minutes from silver spring to get tested for strep at the one place they do this and wasted a whole hour out of my work day. If you're going to say you're open all day, either have more than one person or have more than just a handwriten paper on the trailer telling people that lunch break is from 2 to 3pm.
The experience was excellent throughout the entire booking/exam/testing process but was told at the testing location that it would be ~2 days for covid results and ~5 days for strep results (no rapid strep testing!?!). Well it's coming up on day 5 and I've yet to get any test results. I gave up and just got tested again elsewhere.
