On 10/09/21, I took one of my senior pets in for euthanasia. As pets owners can attest, making this decision is hard enough. The vet’s office shouldn’t make it even harder and more traumatic. As my pet is an exotic, I understood I could not be with her during the actual procedure, so I walked up to the desk to pay and was told the total was $180.00 (plus some change I can’t recall). Best Vet Ever! If you are looking for a wonderful animal hospital, look no more. You have found it at Allatoona Animal Hospital. We have 3 dogs, and we trust them completely in all aspects of their care. Dr. Wansky is beyond amazing! Two of my dogs became paralyzed due to back issues and after determining they were candidates to receive acupuncture, they walked again. In fact, they ran! Dr.Smith is the best. But the adm.staff and polices are hard to deal with.
Dr Smith is great
They do a great job there with both my rescue dog and cat. They've performed last-minute surgeries, taken care of ear infection, routine vaccinations, and other things. They are very caring. They always make us feel special.
Dr Wansky is great I've only used Dr. Wansky. I went to her specifically because she does acupuncture and she donates her time to a shelter where I volunteer and I like to support vets who do that whenever I can.She was great with my cat who could high-spirited shall we say. She explained everything to me as she was going it and made calls to check up on us both.The practice itself is very busy and my cat seemed overwhelmed sometimes with all the activity in the lobby but the staff checks you in and out quickly.
Dr. Smith is a wonderful woman! – I have just recently moved into the Woodstock area, and found Dr. Smith, at the Allatoona Vet Hospital to be wonderful with my animals and very easy to talk with in general. I would highly recommend this office if you want your animal's doctor to be genuinely concerned for their well-being.
Allatoona Animal Hospital My Boxer has been going to Allatoona for 6 years. They have had some turnover with vets but Dr. Cohen is awesome. He returns phone calls and puts the animals at ease. His staff at the front desk is also very friendly and quick to check you in and check you out. I would recommend!
