Dr. Shanin should really find a more capable and professional receptionist. The young woman who answered the phone is probably better suited to work a drive through window than helping people in need of medical services. Updating information on zocdoc with in network insurance would also help.
Choosing this location to have my wisdom teeth removed was one of the best medical decisions I’ve made. The office staff is lovely and made the post-op instructions very clear. The doctor himself made the process feel incredibly smooth; he was soft-spoken and very gentle with excellent bedside manner. I would let this man deliver my children.
I’ve been looking for a oral surgeon for sometime and all of them have given me far waits to be seen but after calling this office I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Shanin the same day. The staff in the office were polite and friendly and even though the office was supposed to be closed for holiday weekend they squeezed us in and took out all 4 wisdom teeth for my boyfriend ! I would recommend this office to anyone !!
My son had terrible tooth pain. Even though his dentist said they could pull it, I preferred to go to a specialist with more experience pulling teeth to make sure there was a minimum of pain and suffering. We went to Dr. Shanin and with his gentle and caring bedside manner, he put my son at ease. After he was numb, the tooth was out in maybe a minute. My son was back to himself later that day.
