I had an appointment with Dr. Gocio May 20, 2026 at his Harrison location. Front desk staff was friendly enough. When Dr. Gocio came into the room he greeted me and sat down at his desk/computer and asked my problem. I said ..to avoid a lot of wasted time, I typed up a summary of my issues for the past several years. Review and we can go from there. He looked at imaging from previous doctors and said uh huh a lot. He never did a physical exam, any muscle, nerve or strength tests...but did say I needed MRI of Hip and neck aft... read more
Cares nothing about the patient after surgery. Put wife on narcotics for over 8 months and said there was nothing he could do. So either he lied or can’t read a mri. Get a lawyer if any problems arrise and don’t waste your time. We had to go to 2 “professional” other neurosurgeons for second opinions only to find out Goccio messed up during surgery.l and will need another surgery to fix what he messed up. Tried to argue wifes mri was the same as last years but she didn’t have one since 2020 so again lied. Bad thing is my wif... read more

I was referred to Dr. Gocio so I went online to read about him and see any reviews. I was so scared to walk in his office. I made my husband go in with me. Let me tell you! He was the nicest doctor and he knew exactly what to ask and check. He treated me with respect. I have no regrets so far!!
