Their development on the corner of Foster and Aspen has been a pain in the ass. Ive had 2 flat tires from their trades leaving nails that drop out of their vehicles. Garbage everywhere, cigarette butts by the handfuls and I can get out of my place without just about getting hit. They park all over the place. Their alarm goes off multiple times because people walk onto the property (usually a trade). They work well past the time allowed pouring concrete up to 10:30 pm at night. We’ve had a noise and vibration issue at their latest build (Florin) for many months. They’ve been trying a few things to improve it but it’s yet to be resolved…
I have mixed emotions about Allaire. I see their potential and can attest to their ability to build with quality, but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. We’ve had a noise and vibration issue at one of their newest builds (Florin) that has been lingering for over a month and while the developer has shown interest in fixing it, little has been done so far and the timeline for a solution remains blurry. Garbage company, Garbage people. Was treated very poorly by this company.
We hired Allaire to do an extensive renovation on our condo: squaring drywall corners and other drywall repairs, paint, new trim, new floors, electrical and plumbing, plus some structural changes to walls and entryways. Every trade involved was professional, on time, courteous, creative, accommodating and did great finished work. The price was reasonable for the quality of work provided. I would recommend Chris and his team at Allaire any day of the week.
