I am not even sure where to begin. The words that I want to use cannot describe the adventure and Wisdom of Chip and Lani. The raw force of nature especially the first nine miles. And the biggest surprise that I didn’t see coming was the relationships that we developed. There were no weak links because everyone picked each other up. This is a true wilderness trip. My husband & I were fortunate to not only have Chip as our guide, but Lani also on our five day paddle! They both worked so hard to give us a wonderful experience. We have tons of still water paddling experience, but no whitewater. We both learned so much & had a blast doing it! I'm not sure how they did it, but every day they fed us a delicious feast. Enjoyed my 7-Day paddle trip. Very experienced, knowledgeable guides. Super nice guides! The food is fantastic, over the top. The scenery is amazingly beautiful with five moose seen, can't beat that! Paddling time and relaxing downtime too.
Taken me too long to write this, but I would recommend over and over. Chip is the ultimate renaissance man. Chef, guide, story teller, chauffeur…. Be prepared to work, it’s not an easy trip, but it will give you peace. Chip’s experience and knowledge cannot be matched. Great for families too. Can’t wait to do it again.
