Came here to rate about my experience when I saw a crazy review from Cloud foam. I’ve been shopping here for 2 years and they have ALWAYS asked for ID unless it’s Apple Pay. I absolutely hate it when people claim racism because they don’t read signs of store policies. It’s not their fault you can’t read . And yes they take backpacks too if they see you carrying a larger bag. Here’s my actual review: Great staff and great selections. I do miss consigning for the extra cash and finding designer bags but I’ll live!

I'm honestly very appalled about an interaction that happened as I was purchasing the clothes I selected. The blonde cashier was very rude. I purchased a lot of items and, as she scanned each item, the cashier would ask me if I still wanted to get it because it is expensive. The tone she asked in was very condescending as if she could not believe that I can afford them, but I didn't think anything of it. Honestly a bit sad on this one. Grew up in Davis and went to this shop all through childhood. Went in today on lunch break and they asked to keep my bag behind the counter. Of course it is no problem with me if that is store policy. I apologized and ran my bag over to the counter. As I shopped I begun to notice that everyone else was allowed to keep their bag with them.
