I have been using All Things Hearing for my auditory needs for six years. Finally, I've have begun using hearing aids, and I just wanted to say what a positive journey it has been. Following the natural hearing decline, exploring the options together and then through the fitting, testing and retesting processes it has been one of great professionalism, humour and advice all mixed in. A few weeks ago I was fitted for my new (upgraded) supersonic hearing aids. But, and it’s a funny ‘but’, I’ve been scared to use them! Why? Because they have Bluetooth. Now me & technology go way back, I’m NOT tech savvy. So with these wonderful hearing devices I can answer phone calls & talk through them. I can watch movies on my iPad & the sound is played directly into my head. I’ve been encouraged gently by my sweet daughters, who put up with me being deaf, to wear the bloody things.
