We had an overall great experience with our DJ! He was extremely organized, professional, and had our wedding timeline down perfectly. He gave us a Spotify link ahead of time where we could add the genres and songs we loved, and he did a great job incorporating almost all of our top song choices throughout the night. We're so glad we got James for our wedding! He was very well organized and communicative from the beginning, and was not pushy about curating a certain vibe. He listened to what we wanted but also offered his experience . For example, during planning, we were dead set on having a "last hour" EDM set, with a curated mix with mashups, remixes, edits, etc., but James graciously communicated that it's difficult in a wedding environment, as it's more about keeping guests dancing and engaged than "performing", as a EDM DJ normally... read more
James was the MC and DJ for our wedding. He made everything so smooth and easy, and curated music that kept the guests enjoying the evening all night long. Recommend him 100%!
We hired James at DJ All The Above Events for my father's 80th birthday party and he absolutely crushed it. The music was perfectly curated for the crowd, the energy was on point all night, and he kept the dance floor packed and the party moving from start to finish. Professional, fun, and genuinely talented. Could not recommend James more highly!
James is truly one of the BEST. I’ve had the pleasure of having him DJ and MC two events, and he absolutely delivered both times. Trust me, this is coming from someone who used to dance the night away a couple of decades ago — and I know a great DJ when I meet one!
