Called for a new breaker and outlet line installed. Technician was kind and courteous. Over the phone I was told the job should be quick and affordable - under $500. The quote I got was over $2000 and it had supplies for the job at over 5x what I could purchase them for at any home improvement store. Labor was reasonably priced, but there is no way the supplies should cost this much. I’ve had other electrical work done (sadly my electrician retired) on this house at a much more realistic price.
