Great haircut from friendly owner, David. Arrived shortly after 9:30 am, there were two ahead of us already. David took his time to make sure we were satisfied. His price is very reasonable. Definitely will go back again.
It’s always admirable when someone is honest about what they’re confident doing. I truly appreciated how friendly the team was, and the stylist did his best to style my bangs. However, after washing my hair, I noticed several uneven areas at the back that had been hidden by the blow-dry. Unfortunately, I had to visit another salon to have it corrected. For future reference, I’d recommend not accepting women’s cuts unless you’re fully confident. That said, they do seem skilled in men’s hairstyles.
If you value professionalism and respect, avoid the lady that works there on Sundays. I'm guessing this is the same lady that the other negative reviews are based on. Went for a hair cut which was fine about a month ago. She was quick to denigrate the Denman "Mexican" barbers when I mentioned that I usually cut my hair there. Worst part was come payment time she was insulted when I handed her a $20 bill. I spotted this barber during a walk around the area, at about 1700, after we arrived at the Westin Bayshore on Saturday afternoon. At CA$14 for a senior hair cut, the price was less than I pay in the UK. Two men were inside but no customers.
