My refrigerator wouldnt cool down all the way and I call and got Pat. He came over and showed me my freezer defrost was not working. He said its expensive and he would have to replace the entire wiring harness and what he just said was the "defrost system". He just put a new heating element in and didnt even wire it correctly the first time. My fridge went back to getting warm several more times with him coming over and just running his heat gun on the frosted freezer with nothing ever being fixed. Oct. 17, 2013 - I had All Star Appliance Repair Service come to look at a washing machine. Pat came out on a $59 service call and provided a written estimate for repair. I was told he needed to replace a burnt out motor, capacitor and timer unit for a total cost of $479. I called another local service company for a second opinion who charged a $44 service call. They tested the motor, capacitor and timer and found nothing wrong. It was found a lid switch was bad. Total repair cost including service call $127. I called Pat to ... read more
