A tire machine using 120 lbs of air will never crack a rim! i know it's an old gripe however, think about it a wheel has to be strong enough to deal with square edge potholes without damage. You are talking a couple tons of impact force. So people think a tire machine applying 120 psi of pressure in 4 places is going to crack a rim? If it did "A" he was doing you a favor and "B" I would never ride on a rim that would crack like that!
Avoid avoid avoid at all cost! Beware! AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COST! BEWARE! Brought my rims in for new tires. He cracked one of my rims and would not provide a receipt because he wanted to cover his butt if I took him to court. He said the crack was there before from a pothole. Completely lies and when confronted he got very defensive. Would not recommend to anyone he is a crook!
