It is ridiculous how expensive it is. Last year I went and we paid one cost per person to go apple picking and to do the barnyard things. This year it is a separate cost for doing the barnyard things. I should not have to pay to get into the barnyard to see animals or to go on the swing with my 20 month old child. He is free but I would have to pay 30 dollars for my husband and I to even take him in there which is outrageous. And then another 30 dollars to go picking apples. I was very unsatisfied going this year. I am going... read more

We went with a large group of scouts. The apples were delicious and they had fun playing....however very expensive for a family to go and participate as a family. When asked why there was a charge for both, the employees response was "the owners are only open 2 months" . I I understand there is a charge for everything and I do believe the owners deserve the money for letting people come onto their property and enjoy multiple activities however that was not quite the response I was hoping for when asking I thought the employe... read more

I have to agree that it was very pricey, I paid for honey crisp and when we went to pick them it was only one row and all that was left was too high to reach, needless to say even though we paid for honey crisp we had to settle for picking the other varieties. The barnyard is great and my kids loved it, if I go next year I would just do the activities. Paying almost $2 per Apple just isn't feasible

Although the orchard does have top quality apples, fun, and a great staff, I should not have to take out a small loan to go there. A peck and a 1/4 of honey crisp and a heartwarming encounter with an adorable cow should not cost me $95.00.

Beautiful and clean, but $110 dollars for about 60 apples is over thet top. And if you want to do the fun stuff it's like $45 bucks a person. Not the place to go for a family larger than 3. Sorry.

Amazing time today!! Tons of honeycrisp apples to pick! Had an amazing time with the kids in the barnyard, before meeting my personal favorite the new bakery store!! The smells from there are fabulous! The donuts and pies to die for. Do yourself a favor and buy the caramel sauce! Before you leave find the desert place and have an apple cider donut sundae..you'll thank me for it later! We'll be back really soon!!!

I started apple picking only a few years ago. I researched where I could pick Honeycrisp apples and this was the only place. That apple has brought me to one of the best orchards in Northern Illinois. Not only me, but my neighbors and family. This is one of the best girls day out that I have had.
