Disappointing All Purpose Improvements was paid substantially to do major improvements to our Bloomington house. When the smoke cleared we have a deck with bare wood that was stained several months ago, gaps in our wood flooring, and a tear in our renovated bathroom shower base. We heard nothing but excuses - the 30 year old house settled, the stain was 'bad' and the shower base was defective. The root cause was not the products but the poor craftmanship. His prices were honesty driven, he was on time, I had zero issues, and we will be using his services again in the future. This company is a joke, the owner is sly. He has nice equipment, professional quotes, and uses the cheapest methods of construction. He built a deck for me and uses small nails instead of screws. I had to have the deck rebuilt. He also has lawsuits against him for other jobs that he botched up.
excellent all around I have hired API for multiple projects and always come away satisfied with the workmanship and affordability. Jerry has gone out of his way to work within my personal budget constraints, and has been very flexible on schedules, materials, and even allowing me to do some of the work to bring down cost. I highly recommend API and Jerry Davis!
Awesome People! I want to Thank All Purpose Improvements for coming out and getting me a free estimate right away and after the owner Jerry spent several hours with me going over all my needs I knew he was the guy for all my home needs. Jerry Davis and co-workers are very competent, resourceful, and execute projects in a very workmanlike manner. Their prices are reasonable, they do the work on schedule, and show up when promised. This company is great they are very polite and honest and do great work. I got an awesome deck with a 10 year warranity. I would recommend them to anyone. They also refinished my hardwood flooring in my living room and it looks brand new again. I am so pleased.
I received poor workmanship, a ruined carpet, and am now spending almost the same I paid to get things in proper working order. I spent a year of monthly calls for the work to be done properly until I was finally swore at. I learned a very expensive lesson by not doing my research before hiring.
Awful Experiences I hired this company because they gave me the lowest bid. I have learned a very expensive lesson. The work was done very poorly (and often incorrectly).
