I booked with Deja for the first time for a deep condition and trim. I had a great experience. I think I will continue to go to her. She is knowledgeable and was very honest about what I needed for my hair and recommended several things. She thoroughly answered my questions which I so appreciate because there’s so much I don’t know yet about caring for natural hair, but I’ll get there! I still have a ways to go with my hair but I feel I’m in good hands these ladies.

I took my 9-year-old daughter in for a shampoo, detangle, blow dry, and trim with Deja after seeing her name mentioned in a lot of positive reviews. I went in feeling really confident, but unfortunately our experience was the complete opposite. I booked an appointment but did not receive confirmation until less than 48 hours prior. When I canceled, I was charged a 50% cancellation fee due to the 48-hour policy despite not having a full 48-hour window after confirmation. I paid the money to resolve it, but the policy was applied rigidly rather than reasonably. I would recommend confirming appointments well in advance and clarifying how cancellation timing is calculated before booking. Policies are understandable. Applying them without context is not.
