I have (had) a 2002 Saturn Vue that had an issue with the RPM's revving while the engine was idle. I dropped the car off on a Tuesday. The mechanic called me back on Thursday to say the car was fixed. Sure, the rpms stopped revving, but now I had to push the gas pedal all the way to the floor to get past 25mph. The shop owner wouldn't admit that it was something they had done to ruin my car. But I left it with them again so they could fix whatever they had broken.
