Dr. Victor Mazza is an excellent doctor. He is very thorough, kind, knowledgeable, and has a great bedside manner. From the moment you meet him, he has a welcoming energy that immediately makes you feel comfortable. I’ve been having POTS symptoms for over 20 years, getting worse and worse as I get older, and have been gaslit by doctor after doctor insisting, “You have anxiety” ever since. I was told “if you had POTS, you’d be passing out every time you stand up.” Dr. Mazza said, “You may have some anxiety… but you also clearly have POTS,” after doing some postural tests, and prescribed inderal, a specific way to exercise, explained the importance of hydration and hydration drops. Finally I feel like I’m not crazy.

My first visit was Dr. Mazza, I felt respected and heard. I have been having extreme high heart rate when eating carbs and sugars and it’s been debilitating. He gave me Propanolol which helped at first. He said I didn’t have POTS and increased HR with eating wouldn’t be POTS. I was very deceived when my symptoms were getting worse and I didn’t feel the medication was helping and was looking for some help. I wrote Dr Mazza 2 messages on the portal. DO NOT TRUST THEIR WEBSITE. They say they have availability to treat POTS, but they do not. It was very disheartening to be able to book an appointment to be seen by Dr. Mazza for POTS a week ago and then this week be told he is no longer seeing anyone for POTS. This is not a place for all health. Also, when I called to discuss this, no one answered. I am receiving texts from the office rather than a person to person discussion to handle this situation. Only care about your money. Everything is technical; you can barely get a person over the phone it's all over text with AI assistants. And if you want to ask a quick question to the doctor; no way, you have to make a telehealth appointment and pay your copay. Will no longer be seeing Dr. Mazza.
