Unfortunately, we were ghosted by this company. It all started Mid June, when they came out to try to fix our RO system that had gone bad after a filter change out in May. We were told don't drink the water and they would be back to fix the probelm. I followed up with many phone calls to get the status of the repair. I feel I was more than patient. Horrible experience with All Family Plumbing of Cary, IL. On 1-28-26 we called them to replace a water heater. They came the same day, but it went downhill from there. The quality of the work was sloppy and rushed. They did not remove the old water tank from the basement at that time. They also unplugged an unrelated ejector pump and never plugged it back in. 3 days later we had guests from out of state who used the basement shower and toilet. I am absolutely disgusted by this company. Around 4:00 PM 1/5/2026, while exiting St. Mary’s Christian School, Lake Cook Road was completely backed up with traffic. I was following the designated parent exit procedure, pulling onto the shoulder that is clearly meant for parents to merge safely. I had my children in the back seat. Out of nowhere, a man driving like a maniac—apparently affiliated with All Family Plumbing—came speeding up behind me trying to bypass stopped traffic and nearly rear-ended my car. Amazing service! We called Thursday evening and they were able to send someone Friday morning. The plumbers (Don and Shawn) were so helpful, clean, and determined to find the problem. They stayed calm and kept great humor throughout the call. The service operators were super nice and friendly too.
