This was the first time buying a mattress on my own so I was unsure what I was looking for. Jim the store Owner was so helpful and knowledgeable about the different mattresses he had to offer. He was very sweet and patient while I took time to decide which mattress to get. I ended up with a King set mattress which is so comfortable I have to force myself to get out of bed in the mornings! I reccomend American Mattress in Ventura, CA to all! I recently purchased a mattress from Travis, who is the owner. He took great care of me. I love my bed, the store was clean, and the price was good.
Great customer service and no pressure selling. Very relaxed environment and honest sales. Great neighborhood feel and low price high quality mattresses
The owner was super helpful and very informed. Genuinely wanted me to find the best mattress based on my liking (and not how much the mattress cost), telling me the relevant technical details of each mattress. Extremely professional and polite. Will definitely return when I buy another mattress. Their delivery service, however, gave me a 1.5hr window and then called me 20 minutes after the window ended to tell me they would be late :(. Besides the small waste of time, a good experience :).
