At my first ever annual appointment, PA Kelsey told me she thinks I have PCOS after telling her about my cycle. She sent me for bloodwork and ultrasounds and said I have no sign of anything, maybe have endometriosis but there’s no way to know. I started having chronic, intense pain. She recommended an IUD. I got it but the pain worsened. She order another ultrasound and said I have cysts and follicles which is a sign of PCOS. She said “you do have the criteria for PCOS but I’m not going to diagnose you with it”. 2 weeks late... read more
