As the owner of All About Automotive, I am sorry whenever a customer is dissatisfied with our service. Mr. Collins hired us to diagnose his daughters vehicle, it was towed in and would crank but not fire up and run. We prequoted Mr. Collins the diagnostic fee of $100.00 which was authorized and we ran tests on the ignition system, fuel system, checked timing and ran a complete compression test on the engine. We are saddened by the fact that lady of portland was dissatisfied with her service at All About Automotive. She could not get her 1977 Ford Mustang II through DEQ. We got her authorization to diagnose the problem, and based upon our testing we obtained her authorization to perform a carburetor and valve adjust, and a complete tune up. We then took the vehicle through DEQ, it passed and got the new tags installed on the vehicle and the registration updated for her. It doesn't get any better than All About Automotive. They make my experience easy and effortless. I continually have been impressed with the level of service, attention to detail and straight talk. No matter what vehicle I bring in to them to have work on, inspected, or diagnosed, they have always given me honest feedback about the state of my vehicle. Diagnostic wrong....no integrity...no refund – My daughters car wasn't starting and I had tried everything, so I took it to Steve over at All About Automotive for a diagnostic. I was given a sheet showing his recommendation for a new fuel injector...and a bill for $100...I installed the injector along with a new set of plugs around $200 and the car still didn't work, when I called him and he said I sould bring it into him again....hmmm, hadn't I just done that and now I'm out $300 bucks...So I took it to Miguels on Stark St.... read more

89 Nissan Sentra towed in, it would crank and not fire. Our tech performed tests, verified spark was good, fuel pressure good at 39 psi, compression test pretty good, slightly low in a couple cylinders, vehicle was flooded and had fuel wash. Cam timing was checked and good, cylinder #1 at top dead center, dist. rotor pointed to cylinder #1 on the dist. cap. Fuel rail leak down test showed fuel pressure would bleed off after 3 minutes of time, indicating leaking fuel injector. Continued?
experienced – I can not believe I have to pay for there learning experience. But that is the case with this shop. They try this then that, I get to pay for the parts and labor for them to figure out what was wrong. Unhappy!
