Quiet motel without any hassles, good location, friendly service. Showers are some of the best I've had, though they can take a long time to run hot. Beds are comfortable. I've stayed there a few times, happy to keep going back.

It was very comfortable, peaceful and great value for money. I was also able to bring my cat in which I loved.

We frequently stay at the Alkira Motel when our work takes us to the Cooma surrounds for field work. Rakesh is very kind and accommodating. The location is fantastic - close to town but very quiet. The perfect place to get some rest and very reasonably priced. We look forward to more stays at Alkira in the future!

We did not receive check in details, when calling the remote owner there was no answer. When they finally got back to me there was no apology. Then the toaster did not work, called again and I was instructed to get one from another room. Then the iron and ironing board were both coated in a black substance, once again I had to go to another room and get them. We arrived back at 930pm and there was a car and trailer blocking the entire entrance to the driveway, it appeared to be the cleaners! They were cleaning rooms till aft... read more
