Terrible experience with Dr. Nair. She would not allow me to accompany my wife for the appointment. We are both elderly and depend on each other for help with memory. This was a very disappointing experience. I would expect more empathy from a health care professional in a community of elderly residents. Her nurse, Joan, was also very rude and condescending. We will never return to this office.
When you get to a certain age – you finally understand that all doctors aren’t the same. The cherish ones…. see you, listen to you and actually want you to feel better. Doctor Alka Nair is one of those cherished docs in the Sarasota scene. She takes her time, she reads your labs and medical history, with the intensity of someone cramming for an important test.
