PSA: Never rent a moving truck from Budget. We got a quote for a one way rental and were told we’d pay one price plus a $150 refundable deposit since I was using my debit card. When we went to confirm the reservation made by an online chat, the specialist couldn’t find my reservation and we were forced to make a new one on the phone with her. We reserved our 16' truck a week prior to moving from our 2,700 square foot house. We received our confirmation that our truck would be ready for pick up at 10:00am on the day we requested. At 9:05am the morning of our scheduled pick-up day Budget Truck Rental called to tell us that the people who had rented the truck prior to us decided to keep the truck 3 additional days and the truck would not be available for our use. Quite literally the worst customer service experience I've ever had!!! Kris was awful to deal with, clearly didn't know how to do her job, and tried to strong arm me into something I felt was not ok. Of course, no manager was around or available...and over a course of 1 weekend I spent a total of 3+ hours waiting in line when I had a reservation. Why is only 1 person working the counter?!?! I'll never do business here again....EVER!!! :|
