If you want to feel gaslit and discredited, see this provider. I have never had such a terrible experience with a doctor before until today. Went in for a persistent cough with new chest pain and wheezing and was basically told that the sounds I’m hearing are from my throat and not my chest when I physically am feeling the symptoms every-time I take a breath in. Great Doctor, knows her stuff and is caring.
I have been waiting 4 days for Dr. Carini to make a simple call to my pharmacy so I can get my prescribed medication. When Dr. Carini first prescribed Anoro Eliot’s, it was a brand name drug. Since that time, a generic has been approved. Insurance will not fill it as prescribed and wants Dr. Carini to ok the generic. The pharmacy has called. I have called and she still will not call the pharmacy with approval.
Dr Carini is an excellent medical professional. I recently was seen by her, I went with my husband and she listened to all my concerns and was very professional and throughout. What a great person she is. She even spoke spanish to me. I felt really comfortable. Ive seen her about 3 times during the year. Too bad she is leaving. I feel sad that I have to find another pcp but happy for her and wish her all the luck in the future endeavors.
This was my “New Patient” appointment… I had to travel 30 minutes each way from work, which is fine… except that the appointment ended with her telling me that she’s leaving the group and that I need to schedule another New Patient appointment with a new provider. What an incredible waste of my time! She obviously knew she was leaving prior to my appointment… I should have been notified and given the option to cancel. This is 2 hours of my life that were completely wasted. I am very dissatisfied with this group.
