I was in the inpatient unit for adults here for 10 days. The nurses were exceptionally kind and I felt that some of them really did care, one of them relating me to her son. The food was really good, especially because there is two meal options if you're picky. The group therapy was very well done, it wasn't targeted towards AA or drugs only like over psych hospitals. Aliso Ridge ruined my life. I was out on the bipolar dose of lithium even though I am not bipolar and have never been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Being put on lithium made me lethargic, caused me to start vomiting and rapidly gain weight. This lowered the quality of my life significantly, ended up causing me to lose my job and made me unemployable. Aliso Ridge was very helpful. I learned coping skills and overall improved my mental health. Everyone is really nice and welcoming.
