Dr. Sederat performed the POEM surgery on my Mom and I truly believe he saved her life. I could never thank him enough. What Dr. Sederat didn’t know is that we lost both my siblings tragically. My regular GI doctor said I had a hiatal hernia which slid up to my diaphragm , causing severe issues with regurgitation . He also said I should get anti reflux surgery and so referred me to this dr Sederat . I was so hopeful that I would have the surgery and be able to eat more . I’m 5 feet 5 and only 95 pounds , dealing with this . BUT Dr Sederat said that I would feel worse - How can I feel any worse than this ?? We can’t thank Dr. Sedarat enough! My mom suffered from achalasia and could not swallow her food. She was losing a lot of weight. I felt helpless. We were so lucky to find Dr. Sedarat. He performed surgery and it was 100% successful. He helped by mom eat again! She has gained weight (normal paced) and is living her life for the fullest. Dr. Sedarat saved my mom’s life with this surgery. Thank you so much! We are very grateful for you.
