Dr. Rod Oskouian is an absolutely amazing neurosurgeon when you need a true expert to perform a difficult surgery. I was told by another spinal surgeon that I could become paralyzed in both arms and not be able to feed myself soon because of the severe narrowing of my cervical spinal canal and I would need to undergo a posterior approach 4 level cervical fusion surgery which is extremely painful and difficult on the patient. Possibly the worst medical experience I have ever had. I went in to get cleared for a home birth with a history of non-epileptic "seizure-like" syncope. She immediately said "no" before I finished my first sentence. When I mentioned my VERY normal test results, she cut me off and said "I don't need to see your test results to say NO". She repeatedly referred to me as a "geriatric pregnancy", said I was "really old" at least twice, and used the sentence "You're no spring chicken". First the Dr goes on vacation and comes back sick--probably covid and cancels my cancer surgery. The scheduling process is just stupid. I tell them when I can be there and they change the time without checking with me. First of the year I am changing to insurance that includes Fred Hutch. I have a friend and her scheduler checks when SHE is available first. Bad business model.
My experience at Swedish Factoria Primary Care has been very disappointing due to their poor planning and scheduling. My first visit was covered by a temporary doctor in January 2024 since my primary was on maternity. As a follow up, the temp doctor ordered a lab test for me in July 2024, but the follow up orders did not make it into their system. My son had an appointment at Swedish Edmonds pediatric clinic for annual wellness check. On the appointment day one of the medical assistants send us in the exam room and we were waiting for doctor more than 1 hour! After a month we received a bill for $340.00. My son has active insurance and Swedish is in the network, but for some reason, the clinic did not send any claim to the insurance and the billing department sent us a bill of $340.00 for this visit. I am new patient at Swedish Family Medicine at 1401 Madison. I've had a few appointments so far and I wish to say, at each visit, I've been treated by their front desk staff and their nurses and others, with courtesy, respect, efficiency and with friendliness. I have praise for them all, also, including their on-site lab personnel where I've had blood tests. Everyone's been very nice and professional. The staff for the Endocrinology in Suite 212 gives rudeness a whole new meaning — and that’s not good! Dr. Geamanu would rather refuse care to a patient in need than give leniency to two minutes after her five minute grace period. Sounds very old school Soviet style. Must be difficult to change an ingrained mindset. Nu, mulțumesc! Nu este singurul endocrinolog din oraș!
What a dump! The gift shops are closed. The cafeteria is closed. The entrance to the building close to where I parked us closed and an employee with pass key wouldn’t get off her behind to let me in. I had to wait for someone to exit, then the employee dragged herself over to the door. I found staff to be unhelpful. Security commandeered the elevators so no one could get out. What is with this place? I’ll never come here again.
I am an immigrant from a war torn country. I have a myriad of health issues from PTSD, to high blood pressure to anxiety. My primary doctor knows that. Despite that fact, she always refused to help me avoid the "mask" harassment. When I asked her to write me an exemption, she refused because she was afraid she would lose her job. She will gladly give me anxiety chemicals and high blood pressure chemicals, but god forbids she feels compassionate and help me make my life easy so hospitals stop harassing me and exacerbating my ... read more
