If you’re thinking of using points for a $2,500/night room here, don’t. it’s truly not worth it. We won’t be able back because we don’t think it’s worth it. • The hotel is severely understaffed, and you will not get the level of service you’d expect at this price point. • We called the front desk to request a late checkout at 9:30am - no one picked up. A last-minute booking for a stay in big sur, we booked 2 nights in total and was well rested and our bellies full by the end of it. Room: We stayed in the guestroom with fireplace. The room was clean and spacious with a balcony overlooking the ocean. Fireplace is stocked with bags of wood and is easy to get going. Probably one of the best things during our stay.
