Aliive Fitness has been life-changing for me since moving to Rapid City. Not only did I find a gym where I can work out on my own schedule and bring my kids when needed, but I also found a community of like-minded fitness enthusiasts. I tried stopping in to check the gym out, but the place was closed. So I called their number to inquire about their services. A guy answered "Alive Fitness". I told him my name and was inquiring about his services. He then proceeded to hang up on me. If you're looking for a gym in Rapid, there are likely plenty of other places that are open and are willing to speak with you on the phone. Do better, Alive.
Great gym! The people are friendly, the sauna is toasty, and there's just the right amount of equipment.
Is this place ever open? Do they ever answer their phones? I’m confused if this is a business. I wanted to try it, it’s 24hours plus gas a sauna. Stopped by a few times. No one was ever there. Not even during posted business hours. Was never able to get anyone on the phone. Looks ok through the windows🤣 curious if the sauna is good. I’d say if you are already a customer probably ok. But I can’t imagine how anyone got to be a customer and got a fob to get in.
I was only in Rapid City for 2 months for a clinical rotation as a graduate student, and finding an affordable gym is hard when you’re not only a student but a temporary member! Aliive was not only affordable, but the only gym in town that was easy to communicate with! The set up process was very easy and hassle-free.
