As a former therapist at Align Wellness, I highly recommend this practice to individuals and couples seeking care, as well as therapists seeking to work in a supportive group setting. Melanie and the professionals at Align provide high-quality, integrative care using both traditional and cutting-edge modalities, while offering much needed access to underserved populations in the Atlanta-area and beyond.
Matthew is the best! He's such a warm and compassionate person to talk with and is really helpful in suggesting things outside of our sessions that might help. He's very funny (when appropriate of course) and validating. 10/10 recommend Matthew, and Align! really easy to find, very chill and nice space if you do in-person sessions!
I have seen multiple therapists and Jenny was definitely one of my favorite to work with. She supported and guided me through some difficult times. She was understanding and worked with my inconsistent schedule. I will absolutely return to her when the need arises.
I have been seeing Melanie Storrusten, LCSW for over a year. I find her to be caring and compassionate. She has helped me tremendously with my PTSD and has helped my personal growth and self-esteem . I am very happy to be her patient and look forward to our sessions.
Claudia Calderon is an example of someone who is only in therapy for the money and should not be assisting patients who are struggling with mental health issues. She forgot about our first appointment, sent me the wrong patients information and pushed one of our last appointments back an hour without confirming with me first. This is concerning considering if you do not cancel you are charged an outrageous fee. She is unhelpful, with no valuable input aside from vague questions thrown back at me.
