I’ve been treated by Jamie for migraine and headache disease, and I can’t say enough about the care I’ve received. Jamie truly understands this disease and treats patients with compassion, attention, and individualized care. It was very easy to make an appointment. I felt like Jamie listened, was easy to talk to, and very helpful. I was able to get some relief same day.
So grateful to have found Jamie B. to manage my migraine care here in Roanoke. Carilion and Lewis Gale have huge waits to see a neurologist to handle migraine and cervical dystonia. Jamie is not an MD neurologist but is an FNP with a specialization in headaches. She also has experienced migraine herself, giving her an understanding of migraine disease that, IMHO, is preferable to abstract teaching in the subject. Excellent service and exceptional compassion. As a 25 year migraine sufferer, I've been on many waitlists for neurologists- im still on one from almost 2 years ago who's never called me. As soon as I found out about this office I made an appointment online and was in Jamie's office within days. Jamie has been willing to help me more than any other doctor! Jamie has been a champion with my complicated medical history including a 35 year history of migraines that were never controlled. She fought my insurance company for a year to get me what is actually helping and get financial aid for it. I finally have someone after years of suffering that actually listens. Thank you Jamie!
