I am super satisfied with my stay. The place clean and well kept. The staff was very helpful. There is some road noise that can be heard from the room but it didn't bother me. Be sure to check out Pizza Chef of Quechee, The Pub house and the Vermont Antique Mall down the street.
Aside from the beds being a bit high to get into, and lack of automatic doors: everything else was quite accessible, with even the transfer bars being on the correct sides for our disability needs. Everyone we encountered on staff were always eager to please as well!
Room was spacious and very clean. Good continental breakfast. Nice tavern with good food is next door. Quechee Gorge is a 3 minute walk. Easy drive to Woodstock and other Villages in the area.
Pros: clean and within walking distance to the gorge and a restaurant. Service at front desk was great. Coffee and tea always available as were cookies Cons: noise level of the trucks and traffic in the rooms facing the road. At times the room would vibrate due to a truck passing on the road. It would be easy to put heavy drapes into the room to help keep the traffic noise down instead of just cellar blinds.
