I have seen Alicia for therapy for 4+ years. She has helped me in ways that I never thought possible and the amount of growth I have done in the time I have seen her is nothing short of amazing. I know without her help I would not have been able to make the steps that I have taken to get where I am today. She has always been professional, helpful, and out of all the therapist I’ve seen in my lifetime, She is my favorite (Hence why I have stayed with her for so long). Alicia presented as unprofessional and lacked basic counseling skills. She did not demonstrate ability to listen and was aggressive in her communication including tone and context. She did not ask open ended questions and shamed me for sharing my feelings. Counseling should help you to understand yourself better and learn skills, she did not assist with either. She was more interested in talking about herself. The most validated I have felt is reading additional reviews in which others shared she yelled at them as well.

Alicia made me feel very comfortable, and welcoming. She helped me through a rough patch so well that I don't go anymore, but will if I need to!
