I had eye surgery with Dr. Carrol on 1/16/25, expecting a routine procedure and a recovery of about six weeks. Over 12 weeks later, I was still unable to return to work and had not recovered. I am worse off now than before the surgery. Dr. Carrol described the procedure as “simple,” which led me to trust her judgment—but the results have been traumatic. BEWARE!!! I am amazed at the positive reviews for Dr. Carroll. Are they AI generated ? My mother was referred for a skin cancer on her face. Dr. Carroll continued to ask for “notes” and failed to provide clarification on what type of “notes” she needed. We went to her because she is supposed to be a doctor and it was her responsibility to evaluate, biopsy, treat or provide some sort of care or opinion on the situation. My mother was referred due to a growth on her face that turned out to be cancer. Alicia Carroll didn't provide any information as to what it might be, perform a biopsy, recommend anyone that could assist us, and refuse to assist in any way. She only continued to say she needed notes. I ask her 4 times to define what kind or who from she needed notes from. Each time she would only respond, I need notes in a hateful manner without clarification. Poor customer service!
I am always impressed when a doctor takes their time to make sure you’re well informed. Why am I impressed? Because it seldom happens that you walk out of a doctors office with enough information to make an informed decision about your health. That happened today. Dr. Carroll has a patient in me for life. Beware! I wouldn’t recommend this Doctor to anyone. She and her office were rude and inconsiderate. My mother had been going to this Doctor for procedures and Botox for several years. She had an 11:15 Botox appointment. Since she is elderly, I drove her to her appointment. We arrived at 11:05 and my Mother was called in the back at 11:45 and was numbed up for her procedure.
