Very Kind encouraging took time out of her day to call us individually to make sure we were doing ok
My son was receiving care at Le Bonheur Outpatient Hospital on Humphrey's Blvd in Memphis TN for years. Unfortunately, our original endo had to leave and we were left in care of Alicia Diaz-Thomas. My son went for 6 months without his Norditropin Flex Pro. We even paid out of pocket for a different medication that didn't end up working out. Horrible service. My daughter has to take Synthroid daily. She has been out of medication for 3 months. We have called numerous times requesting refills , all we get from a call center is they will send the request over. Our pharmacy has been gracious enough to provide them for us thinking the Dr would call in the necessary refills. 3 months later still no call for the refills. The pharmacy is now saying they can not give anymore without the call from the Dr/nurse/etc. Called again this morning and the same response. Absolut... read more
Dr. Diaz-Thomas was my endocrinologist from the time I was 11 until I was 21. I have nothing but good things to say about her. She always made sure to listen to my questions and concerns, and saved my life several times. When I had a thyroid storm and was in the hospital she made sure to come in and check on me herself and would sit with me for at least 15 minutes every day. I have yet to find an adult endocrinologist that is as good as she is!!
