I had a disappointing appointment with Dr Kiran. During the dental procedure, he asked whether I had lip filler. When I answered that my lips are naturally that way, he commented that they were thick or something like that. Because I was bullied about my lips when I was younger, the comment was upsetting and brought back an insecurity I had worked hard to overcome. I had a bad toothache and Dr Kiram was able to see me. He’s my regular dentist, always efficient and professional. Takes the time to explain every procedure and why it is necessary to get the treatment needed to look after my teeth.
I had half a tooth break off at the gum, while I was on a wildlife reserve 300km from town. I was able to see Dr Kiran next day. He did an excellent job of stabilising my tooth so I could continue my holiday.
