will stick you on so many SSRIs that you can't see straight instead of actually trying any other medications or treatments. Went to a new doctor to find out a bunch of my meds were dangerous together and I was suffering from serotonin syndrome. Find a doctor who listens instead

My partner has been dealing with pain in his chest for about 3 years now. He’s been to many doctors and all have told him that he was fine. They’ve all taken blood tests and comprehensive metabolic panels. He has recently found a doctor who has informed him that his bilirubin levels are very HIGH. In note of this, he checked his past test results from the last several years and found that they have BEEN high. I’ve held back on writing this review for a long time, but after finding a new doctor who truly listens and respects me, I feel it’s important to share my experience. Dr. Alia Anthony was dismissive, condescending when questioned, and ultimately dishonest. She seemed to believe that “if it’s common, it’s normal.” but as a woman, I know that’s an incredibly lazy and harmful approach to care.
