We encountered Dr. Sheharyar in the Bayhealth hospital. He was thorough, kind, thoughtful & patient in responding to all our questions & getting us answers. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.
I would have selected no stars if it was an option. The front desk staff could benefit from remedial training in customer service. The receptionist was extremely rude and condescending. This behavior is toxic and often if left uncorrected misrepresents the organization.
Called to make an appointment for my daughter early this afternoon and the receptionist was very rude and condescending. I was told the doctor doesn't see patients under 18, my daughter is 16. Which I understood and asked if someone from their office can call humana Tricare to update that their practice doesn't take minors, and she refused. Basically saying they have berfore but didnt stick. I have a severely disabled/Autistic adult daughter, we just spent 3 days at hospital for back to back seizures, I was desperately looking for a neurologist who specializes in Seizures, which apparently there’s only 2 in our area, only to be denied an appointment by a very rude staff member. They told me no one is able to see her now or the near future. SHAME on the so called specialists for not been able to see her, I am now looking for specialists in other states.
