Dr. Ali is a great doctor. I can't speak highly enough of him. His front desk assistant is nothing but a total nightmare, which does make me feel "uncertain" of Dr. Ali's knowledge regarding "common sense?"
The one star rating is not for Dr. Ali. Read on and you will understand the one-star rating. I have been truly satisfied with Dr. Ali. He has me on a great medicinal regime - HOWEVER, his front desk receptionist, Shapria, is nothing but a brutal bully~! She's mean, rude, highly unprofessional, and she does not deserve to work for Dr. Ali, and he doesn't deserve her hateful self. Be prepared to deal with Shapria. She is horribly insensitive and believes she is the gatekeeper of Dr Ali's practice. Very entitled attitude and beyond unprofessional. She takes advantage of people with mental illness by intimidation. Truly disgusting behaviour.
His office staff is hateful and unprofessional. I am very fond of Dr Ali and confident that the care he provides is without compromise. However, the repeated trauma of dealing with Shapria has made it necessary for me to change providers. It's a shame.
The front desk help is rude and want to blame you for their clerical errors.
I've been a patient of his for years. He is absolutely the best aspect of my health care team. He listens to my concerns, respects my judgment and offers clear insight. He's always respectful. He doesn't dictate, or cut me off. He considers the big picture and wants to find lasting solutions.
Very childish man. When we agreed to a prescription, I pulled my phone out of pocket. Ali then screamed You don' trust me?! then preceeded to tear my prescription to scraps into the garbage can and kicked me out of his office.
